Do to the yard sales in June movie night will be moved back one week.
Also do to Christmas Tree Lighting in December movie night will be moved back one week.
Next year 90% of the movies shown will be Classics. Up to this point I have shown mainly NEW movie just out within the past year.
Attendance for these movies have been relatively poor. So I'm going to try older stuff from the 50's & 60's maybe 70's & 80's. There is no rating system on those movies shown before 1970.
I know a lot of these have been shown on the TNC but I'm banking next year on the older stuff coming thru.
If not, I'll return to the current stuff.
Thank You, Your Movie Man!

Thank You For Those Kind Words. Betty Lou & I with the limited time we have try to show the best movies we can. Those that we think will draw the most people. The BIG BOY'S way up there would like to see attendances of 100 + people. But we know that's not possible with Dish & Red Box & a few others it's almost impossble to get something new & show it for the first time. After 7 years of running this now I have an inventory of what movies had the highest attendance figures. Our record is 48! This past Friday we had Beauty & The Beast, a Disney re-make which has done very well at the box office & currently is still number one for the year at 503 million. We had an attendance for this of 33 which even though it doesn't seem like many, it ranked 5th in our all-time attandance. Finishing out the year we will have in August the true story of the U.S.S. Indianapolis: men of Courage--an exciting movie that never made it to local theaters. September then for you dog lovers the 2017 movie "A Dog's Purpose". This movie has humor & sadness & covers the whole gammit of emossions. Coming in October is the 2017 Sc-Fi thriller "Passengers" about a man travelling as part of a space team that wakes up too early in his mission. November will be the Top Rated Christian movie for the year "The Shack" Basically about the LORD teaching us to "Forgive"! By December I should have the 2017 rendition of King Kong, which is classified as a Horror movie inwhich some of do like! Name of the movie: Kong: Skull Island. All movies for the remainder of the year are rated PG or PG-13. Next year plans on being just as exciting with this years top movies along with some classics planned. i try to mix Sci-Fi, Comedy, Drama, Thrillers, Christian, Biography's, Musicals & Others in the short time we have---Sooooooooooooooo! Come out socialize get some free popcorn & watch a movie on our "MOVIE NIGH"!! T H A N K Y O U !!

Any chance of showing the movies at 7:00? Just a bit earlier would be nice.

We tried that & got complaints that it was too soon after the meal hour. Also in the summertime its so bright in that room. The cutains & exit door do not do a very good job of blocking out the light. For this reason we moved it back. Some of the longer movies, yes, I may have to move to 6:30 or 7:00 depending on there length. Thanks For inquiring.

This is basically a feeler to see who's interested in the following movie: I have purchased "MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS" 2017 version to show, but during review of the movie my wife & I both fell asleep, "boring". So if anyone out there really wants to see this, contact me & we will go ahead & put it on our schedule. There have been so many versions of this thru the last 50 years. Just e-mail me at "bettylou905@gmail.com & say yes I want to see it & I will put it on the schedule most likely for August at this point. Thank You!

I'd like Thank You all on your attendance of movie night through out the years. At this point, movie night for me is a question??
I went into the hospital May 26th with a heart attack & had a triple bypass three days later. Soooo, at this point the movie man's return is questionable at best.
Movie night is cancelled til further notice! If there is anybody out there that once to do this sort of thing for the community, NOW is your chance!
My return is questionable at this point in time.
Betty Lou & I have had fun serving you with movies since 2010. With Total attendance gross up until now of 1712 & a total of 82 movies shown with the highest attendances being 48 for both Monuments Men & War Room.
If & that's a big "if" I do continue I will need setup men for the movie night.
If someone decides to step up & take it over, they only need to see me for movies. With a vast collection of over 2000 movies they can be supplied for quite a while. My movies range bascally from the 50's to todays blockbusters. This will not stop me from collecting! I can send a list to the person that takes it over as to what I have & that's available. Movie Night was relatively cheap because my wif & I did not have to rent them & with free pop corn we only made profit off drinks.
So here it is folks! The opportunity of a lifetime to run your own movie theater!!
Love you all & it's been a BLAST!!
